SUCK IT, DODGERS!

Given my name I'm sure most of you have inferred that I'm a San Francisco Giants fan.  While I doubt many of you could care because you either live halfway across the world or you just don't care about baseball, I thought I'd let you know the Giants are in first place now, with 15 games left in the regular season.

I can't really think of anything else to write about tonight so I'll just talk about today's game.  

Starting pitcher Jonathan Sanchez recorded 12 strikeouts and 0 walks through 7 strong innings against the Dodgers in a 10-2 win on September 16, 2010.

Man, today's game was a thriller.  The offense showed up from what can only be described as a paid vacation.  With a 10-2 win over their nemesis, the Dodgers, SF moved into first place in the west for the first time since May 6.   Huff, Posey, and Guillen, who went 3-3, homered.  

The best part about it is the Giants have, on paper, the easiest schedule for the remainder of the season.  

Anyway, I got myself a date this sunday in the form of the 1:05pm Giants game against the Milwaukee Brewers.
